We've updated this classic Caribbean cocktail with our zesty orange bitters.
Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
- 1 oz mint syrup*
3 dashes Hella Orange Bitters
- Crushed ice
- Fresh mint sprig bouquet, for garnish
Directions
- Combine bourbon, mint syrup and bitters in a shaker and stir without ice.
- Fill a julep cup with crushed ice.
- Pour bourbon mixture over crushed ice.
- Garnish with a bouquet of fresh mint.

- Steep several sprigs of mint in 1 cup of hot water for 5 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup of sugar and mix until combined.
- Strain out mint and let cool.
