Ingredients

2 oz Bourbon

2 oz manzanita syrup*

3 dashes Hella Mexican Chocolate Bitters

Orange peel, for garnish
Directions
Fill a rocks glass with one large ice cube, or three or four smaller cubes.
In a mixing glass, combine bourbon, manzanita syrup, and bitters over ice. Stir.
Pour into rocks glass and garnish with a burnt orange peel.
Manzanita Syrup
Bring 48 oz of manzanita soda to a light boil. Let the liquid evaporate until you're left with 12 oz. Pour back into the soda bottle and refrigerate.
