Moscow Mule
Share
The classic drink has an interesting history. In the 1940s, as salesmen attempted to popularize vodka over classic spirits like whiskey and gin, they invented the ubiquitous copper mug as a way to polish up the clear liquor. Ginger beer and fresh lime juice were added to create a "real" cocktail, and the Moscow Mule was born.
